J’s pi recipe for: DERBY PIE

Ingredients

  • 9"

    Pie shell raw

  • ½ C

    Flour

  • 1 C

    Sugar

  • 2

    Eggs slightly beaten

  • ½ C

    Butter melted + cooled

  • 1 C

    Pecans chopped

  • ¾ C

    Chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F

  2. Mix flour, and sugar in a large bowl

  3. Add everything else

  4. Stir until smooth

  5. Transfer batter into pie shell

  6. Bake for 1 hour

  7. Cool for 30 minutes

  8. Serve warm
    It is expected for the inside to be a bit gooey, like an under-done cookie
